RETURN TO SENDER

On Sunday March 30^th activists from the Greek Social Forum successfully wrapped the statue of Truman in brown paper and  wrote “to be returned”! Activists waving flags then circled the statue and a banner protesting against the war was opened.

A small happening but symbolic as Truman, the 33^rd President of the United States, was responsible for the use of nuclear bombs against Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

The next demonstration that has been organized by the Greek Social Forum will take place at the naval base in Souda outside of Hania in Crete on April 5^th - 6^th.
